I dont have the best voice, shoudl i still sing at my talent show with my friend for fun?

i am going to be a sophomore and she is going to be a freshman. i dont
have the best voice and neither does she.
but i dont want to embarass myself, i have been told that i have an
averagbe voice, that its not bad, but nothing special. should i sing
in the talent show
